7. 2,vc_responsive The Minerva Scholarship Program The Minerva Scholarship program was established by Women in California Leadership to support the advancement of women in the State of California. Launched in 2015, the foundation was established with the purpose of empowering women and enhancing the lives of women and girls.
To this end, the foundation is committed to providing scholarships to select women of promise in order to help them achieve their educational objectives.
Application Available / Application Process Begins FILL & SUBMIT APPLICATION Deadline for Submission of Applications All applications must be submitted online by 11:59 pm on May 31, 2026 Late applications will NOT be accepted Paper applications will NOT be accepted Announcement of Scholarship Winners Announcement of $10,000 Golden Minerva Scholarship Winner Up to 126 one-time $3,000 scholarships In order to be eligible for scholarship consideration students must meet the following requirements: All California residents may apply and will be considered Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an accredited college for the 2026-2027 academic year Eligible students must gender identify as a woman or girl, or are female regardless of gender identity Please include the following in your application packet: 250-word Personal Statement Transcript (official or unofficial) Two letters of Recommendation Copy of Acceptance Letter/Enrollment Verification Letter QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS CONCERNING THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM CAN BE SENT TO HEATHER@WICL.
