Mini Grant Application | Foundation for Morristown Medical Center The Foundation for Morristown Medical Center Mini Grant Program supports projects of up to $25,000 that enhance patient care and are not funded through the hospital’s annual budget. A total of $50,000 is awarded quarterly ($200,000 annually) to fund a variety of projects that facilitate innovation for clinical, nursing and care teams.
Awardees have used Mini Grant funds for a wide range of patient-centered initiatives, which include music therapy to aid patient recovery and equipment needs, such as vein scanners and mobility programs, for critically ill pediatric patients.
Teams that successfully carry out projects supported by Mini Grant funds make a lasting impact on Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center and Atlantic Health Goryeb Children’s Hospital patients and their families. 2026 Grant Application Deadlines: Review the Mini Grant Guidelines (below). Obtain authorization (via signature) from your department chair and service line director before applying.
Requests for research-related funding must provide indication of Atlantic Center for Research approval. If your request is part of a research study that requires IRB approval, please obtain IRB approval prior to submitting for the grant request. Prepare a detailed budget itemizing all expenses.
This will be required upon submission of your application. Any applications that do not include a budget will not be considered. Apply by filling out a Mini Grant Application (below) and submitting it to Estefani Rodriguez at the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center.
The Mini Grant Review Committee meets quarterly to review applications and select projects. Approved applicants are typically notified of their grant within a month of the filing deadline. No new requests will be considered within 12 months of the grant and prior to submission of a utilization report (see the first bullet point under “Awarding Grants”).
Awarded grants must be spent within 12 months of approval and a utilization report should also be submitted to the Foundation within 12 months.
