Minor Home Repair Program (Sound Generations) is sponsored by Sound Generations. This program provides minor home repairs for younger disabled homeowners, low-income family homeowners, and older adult homeowners. Services include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and disability access modifications.

Minor Home Repair provides home maintenance for Seattle, Shoreline, Black Diamond, Maple Valley, Enumclaw, Pacific, Algona, Normandy Park, and unincorporated South King County.

Our program helps low- to moderate-income adults of all ages maintain independence and remain safely in their homes for as long as possible. Email: mhr@soundgenerations.

Please note that the list below is not all inclusive and we encourage applicants and certified clients to reach out with their needs even if they do not see the repairs they are interested listed.

Fixing leaking pipes and faucets Replacing broken toilets and sinks Installing battery-operated smoke detectors Repairing rotted and unsafe porches Replacing broken doors and windowpanes (small single pane only) Installing locks and deadbolts Building and installing handrails Water Conservation Program Save water and money with free water-saving toilets, as well as free installation, to qualifying Seattle residents.
