Mission Fund: Scholarships is sponsored by Lutheran Bible Translators. Provides scholarships to local leaders pursuing higher education in linguistics, biblical languages, and translation studies to advance Bible translation in their communities.

The next generation of Bible translators is emerging Lutheran Bible Translators partners with institutions that provide training in linguistics, biblical languages, and translation studies.

Local language speakers can train for Bible ministry while remaining in their home country or region. Graduates from these programs contribute to translation and literacy work in their communities. Trained personnel contribute to accurate translation work because their understanding of local language and culture supports clear and faithful Scripture translation.

Invest in future translation leaders Scholarship recipients play an important role in the long‑term work of Bible translation. Your gifts and prayers support students as they pursue formal training for translation and Scripture engagement work in the languages they know best.
