The primary purpose of this Cooperative Agreement is to provide services to perform the MAPS program, a continent-wide bird monitoring program at Naval Support Facility Dahlgren (NSFDL), in Dahlgren, Virginia and Naval Support Facility Indian Head (NSFIH) in Indian Head, Maryland. The intent of these efforts is to promote the conservation of migratory birds and supports various requirements of the Department of Defense Partners in Flight Program, Migratory Bird Treaty Act, and NSFDL and NSFIH Integrated Natural Resources Management Plans (INRMPs).
