Our mission is to help the world grow the food it needs Our commitment as a financial and strategic partner of these organizations is an extension of that. Doing our part to support global initiatives and local needs within the areas where we live and work is something we are passionate about.
We continually strive to make a positive impact in our communities around the world by partnering with organizations and supporting initiatives that can help improve quality of life. The Mosaic Company, The Mosaic Company Foundation and The Mosaic Institute in Brazil are making investments to help feed the hungry, protect our critical natural resources, support education, health and culture, and much more.
Annually, we contribute about $12 million through philanthropic funding, employee engagement and in-kind donations. Founded in 2008, the Mosaic Institute is the social pillar of Mosaic Fertilizantes. Its objective is to promote mutual and sustainable development in communities, based on regional conditions, operational activity, social indices, businesses, and the needs and desire of the community members.
Through the programs carried out by the Institute, the company wants to help transform the reality of neighboring locations and its operations. The programs are divided into four categories: Food, Water, Education and Local Development. Learn more about them.
