gov.au/funding/find-funding/mrff-2025-mental-health-and-climate-change-grant-opportunity-go7541) MRFF – Global Health Initiative – 2025 Mental Health and Climate Change Grant Opportunity The objective of the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) – 2025 Mental Health and Climate Change Grant Opportunity is to provide grants of financial assistance to support medical research and medical innovation projects that, through co-design with consumers and health services, develop scalable and sustainable interventions to mitigate the impact of climate change on Australians’ mental health.

The anticipated outcome of the research funded by this grant opportunity is to improve the health and wellbeing of Australians by addressing the mental health impacts of climate change. This grant opportunity is being administered by NHMRC on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.
