Multnomah Treatment Fund | Multnomah County Uninsured and need help now? Pays up to 6 months of mental health treatment for those who most need it. Who Might Need the Multnomah Treatment Fund?
How to Apply (For Contracted Providers) This safety net program helps pay for mental health treatment for uninsured adults and children who have limited financial resources and need immediate help. Funds are limited, and are intended to help our most vulnerable clients receive mental health treatment for up to 6 months. If you request funds, you must work to get your client into more permanent and on-going mental health coverage.
If your client still needs services after 6 months, assistance may be extended.
Clients receiving assistance can also get help paying for medication» A client may be able eligible if they: Have income less than 200% of the federal poverty level Have no insurance, including the Oregon Health Plan (Medicaid) Documentation that you tried to get them on insurance Have a high and immediate need for mental health services Who Might Need the Multnomah Treatment Fund?
I can’t pay for mental health treatment, and I: Was just released from a psychiatric hospital Am close to being hospitalized or jailed Might lose a child, home or school placement Our contracted providers* can request the Multnomah Treatment Fund for a client.
