The NALAC Fund for the Arts: Artist & Organization Grants The NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA) is the only national grant program of its kind, exclusively supporting Latinx/é artists, cultural practitioners, and arts organizations based in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Given our times, this year NALAC will award 20 NFA: Individuals and Ensembles Meet the Moment Grants of $5,000 each to fund artistic/cultural projects, initiatives, and opportunities that support the individual or ensemble in addressing public concerns and/or influencing social change. These funds are available to Latinx/é individual artists, individual cultural workers, and ensembles (defined as a group of artists working together).

Healthcare Is a Right, Not a Privilege, 2023 NALAC Fund for the Arts Grantee. Announcing the 2025 NALAC Fund for the Arts: National Arts Partners Grantees NALAC is excited to announce the recipients of the 2025 NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA): National Arts Partners grants.
The awards, totaling $525,000, will provide unrestricted organizational grants of $25,000 to twenty-one Latinx/é arts organizations across the United States, including Puerto Rico, in eleven disciplines ranging from craft and culinary arts to literary arts and film.
View the 2025 NFA: National Arts Partners Grantees Femme Frontera, 2025 NFA: National Arts Grantee For over 15 years, the NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA) has stood as the premier national grant program dedicated exclusively to supporting Latinx artists and arts organizations.
Since its inception , NALAC has distributed 884 grants to Latinx communities, representing a monumental investment exceeding $7 million throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. In 2020 and 2021, in response to COVID-19, NALAC transitioned the NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA) to Actos de Confianza, a relief fund that provided over one million dollars in support to artists and organizations impacted by the pandemic.
The 2023 NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA) grant program marked the return to supporting Latinx/é artists and organizations through project-based funding, with a historic number of grants awarded for the cycle. As part of the 2024 NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA), NALAC was excited to announce its first-ever Modern Maverick Artist Grant, developed in partnership with Espolòn Tequila.
The award was created in celebration of Espolòn’s 25th Anniversary of its Tequila Blanco and aimed to uplift one emerging artist who champions unapologetic originality, using their art to inspire and spur on change. Learn more about Espolòn’s support of NALAC .

The NALAC Fund for the Arts supports this work and serves as a catalyst for innovation in the arts field, providing Latinx cultural producers with critical funding to invest in their creative capacity and ability to make lasting contributions to their communities and society. We encourage first time applicants, returning applicants who have not received a grant, and applicants from diverse geographic areas to apply.
