## ECA Grant Opportunities The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) offers a variety of grant opportunities aimed at fostering mutual understanding and promoting American diplomacy. These grants support a wide range of programs, including educational exchanges, cultural programs, and professional development initiatives.
## Explore Current ECA Grant Opportunities The Youth Ambassadors (YA) program cultivates U.S.-aligned global leaders and competitive American youth to build enduring international partnerships that serve long-term U.S. strategic goals. Through three-week exchanges in the United States and abroad, the program connects youth and adult mentors from select countries with American culture, society, and institutions.
Participants engage in skills development workshops, leadership trainings, community projects, cultural activities, and homestays with local host families. These immersive experiences showcase American excellence and innovation while equipping participants with critical entrepreneurial and leadership skills. Upon return home, participants apply what they have learned to implement projects in their communities.

American communities succeed by building on what they do best — innovating, strengthening key industries, and coordinating business, workforce, and community leadership to deliver results.
The Community Solutions Program invests in American and international community leaders interested in learning from proven U.S. approaches to regional economic growth. It will engage leaders, ages 27–39, who will work alongside American partners to understand how regional industry clusters and locally driven strategies expand opportunities that benefit the American people.
During a three- to four-month exchange in the United States, approximately 50–60 participants will work directly with American counterparts on real-world economic growth initiatives across key sectors such as: culinary industries/farm-to-table; business and entrepreneurship; hospitality and tourism; technology and innovation, and others as proposed.

The IVLP advances America First national security priorities and builds long-term relationships between Americans and international leaders in government, business, academia, and other fields.
Recipients design and implement customized short-term visits to the United States for current and emerging leaders from around the world. These visits support U.S. foreign policy goals and reflect the participants’ professional interests. Eligible recipients will have expertise in foreign policy, experience in professional exchange programming, and the ability to provide tailored projects for participants from all countries.

The Congress-Bundestag/Bundesrat Staff Exchange (CBBSX) extends the CBYX program to U.S. Congressional and German parliamentary staffers through a short-term reciprocal exchange between the U.S. Congress and German Parliament. CBBSX strengthens ties between legislatures, enhances collaboration on shared priorities, and builds relationships that support U.S. leadership in the transatlantic partnership.
