Grant Information - NBA Foundation The NBA Foundation invests in making grants to local and national organizations serving under-resourced youth ages 14-24, that promote school-to-career employment opportunities, including job readiness, skill training, job placement, and career advancement.
NBA Foundation grants are designed to spark meaningful change by investing in nonprofit partners that support workforce development and career readiness. These grants fund defined projects that equip young people with the tools, training, and opportunities they need to thrive professionally. At the heart of our mission is a commitment to economic empowerment and social mobility.
By addressing employment disparities and expanding access to career pathways, the NBA Foundation is helping young people in NBA team markets build brighter futures. My organization uploaded the wrong document (Org or Program Budget, 990N, etc) during the Fall/Spring Cycle. Can I go back to FLUXX and re-upload the correct documentation onto my application before the last day of the grant application deadline submission? My application has been declined by the NBA Foundation.

My organization does not have a direct connection to an NBA Team, but we do work with a local sports or entertainment agency that donates game tickets to our organization. Does this count as an NBA Team partnership? Can I ask my local NBA Team for funding if I do not receive funding from the NBA Foundation?
What is an appropriate grant request amount or grant size? Are funds able to support direct program costs only? Do you fund summer programs or internship stipends?
I have registered for an account in FLUXX, however I am receiving an error message when I try to submit my application. I have registered my account in FLUXX following the link on the website, but FLUXX never sent an email confirmation. The Primary Contact listed is no longer with the organization.
How do I update my Primary Contact for our organization on FLUXX? When I try to register an account, it says that my account already exists or the link has expired. I created a new organization profile with my current email, however my organization has an old profile with a prior declined grant under a different primary contact, but both with the same tax ID.
