NC-Immigrant Solidarity Fund is sponsored by CWS Durham. The NC-Immigrant Solidarity Fund is a statewide, grassroots effort in North Carolina to provide humanitarian assistance to vulnerable immigrant families, regardless of status.

Immigrant Solidarity Fund | CWS Durham NC-Immigrant Solidarity Fund The NC-Immigrant Solidarity Fund (NC-ISF) is a statewide, grassroots effort to provide humanitarian assistance to vulnerable immigrant families, regardless of status. Eligible applicants can receive a one-time cash assistance grant to secure legal representation or cover necessary household expenses after a loved one has been arrested by ICE.

Individuals impacted by elevated ICE presence may also be eligible for financial assistance. We recognize a growing need to support residents of North Carolina impacted by ICE activity, including those who are ineligible or unable to access other public or financial assistance programs because of immigration status.

The NC-Immigrant Solidarity Fund is a project of CWS Durham in partnership with trusted grassroots organizations across the state. 100% of donations to the ISF are used directly for financial assistance grants. Administrative and operating costs are supported by CWS.

Applicants can also call or text 919-641-7825. Due to limited funding and high demand for support, average wait times for support from the ISF are currently several months. As funding becomes available, applicants will be contacted in the order they were added to the waitlist.
