NEH encourages scholars, practitioners, and cultural institutions in the United States to explore opportunities for international collaboration.
Through targeted international partnerships, NEH seeks to support bi- and multi-national projects that advance both humanities research and cultural exchange. The partnership between the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the U.S.-Israel Binational Science Foundation (BSF) works to increase international cooperation in humanities research and reduce some of the barriers to working internationally by offering funding for U.S. and Israeli scholars to carry out joint research projects.

Scholarly Editions and Translations Fellowships for Advanced Social Science Research on Japan As part of the U.S. and Greece’s official Agreement on Science and Technology Cooperation, the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI) are partnering to promote collaborative research between U.S. and Greek scholars in the humanities, offering scholars the opportunity to carry out joint research projects.
