Neighbor to Neighbor Disaster Relief Fund is sponsored by East Tennessee Foundation. Exclusively used to support nonprofits and agencies helping with response, relief, and long-term recovery in East Tennessee communities facing devastating impacts from disasters.

Neighbor to Neighbor Disaster Relief Fund - East Tennessee Foundation Neighbor to Neighbor Disaster Relief Fund This Fund is exclusively being used to support nonprofits and agencies who are helping with response, relief, and long-term recovery in the East Tennessee communities facing devastating impacts from Hurricane Helene.

Specifically, we are partnering with organizations supporting recovery for the following counties: Carter, Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Greene, Hamblen, Hancock, Hawkins, Jefferson, Johnson, Sevier, Sullivan, Unicoi, and Washington.

Neighbor to Neighbor Disaster Relief Fund Applications to be Redirected to Localized Long-Term Recovery Groups Thanks to the generosity of donors and the tireless work of our nonprofit partners, our Neighbor to Neighbor Disaster Relief Fund has been able to respond quickly to recovery efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

To date, ETF has supported a range of organizations addressing both urgent community needs and long-term recovery efforts in our region. As our communities shift their focus from immediate relief to long-term recovery, new requests for assistance should be directed to the local Long-Term Recovery Groups (LTRGs) in Carter, Cocke, Greene, Johnson, Unicoi, and Washington counties.

These groups are working directly with individuals and families to identify unmet needs, and we will be supporting their efforts to coordinate recovery in the months ahead.
