That’s why we offer two unique grant opportunities.

Neurodivergent Travel Experience Grants This grant is designed for neurodivergent individuals or families who are seeking support for meaningful travel experiences. Grants may come in the form of gifted vouchers, hotel stays, admission passes, or other in-kind travel support.

Must be a neurodivergent individual or the parent/guardian of a neurodivergent child Travel experience must align with our mission What You’ll Need to Apply Trip details (where, when, why) A personal impact statement Estimated budget or area of need Willingness to provide a short reflection post-trip (written, video, or photo) Apply for the Travel Experience Grant Travel clearly supports growth or regulation Indicates limited access without grant support Thoughtful planning, meaningful goals Clear, complete, and compelling Willingness to Share Reflection Agrees to report post-trip Directly serves or uplifts neurodivergent explorers or creators The project is realistic, well-scoped, and ready for launch Demonstrates potential to benefit many or create meaningful, scalable change Offers a unique, inclusive, or adaptive approach to ND-friendly travel or exploration ND individuals are actively involved in design, leadership, or implementation Entrepreneur & Inclusive Business Grants This grant supports neurodivergent entrepreneurs or inclusive businesses that are actively improving experiences for the ND community.

Grants may fund projects, products, services, or accessibility efforts that align with our mission.

Must be a neurodivergent entrepreneur or a business clearly serving the ND travel space Project must align with our values of access, inclusion, and empowerment Business must be legally registered and operational in the U.S. What You’ll Need to Apply Project description and timeline Statement of neurodivergent impact Optional: visuals, pitch deck, testimonials Apply for the Entrepreneur/Business Grant Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis or during designated grant cycles.

A small committee reviews all applications and selects recipients based on mission alignment and available resources. Many grants are in the form of in-kind support (e.g., Southwest vouchers, Marriott stays, museum passes) rather than cash. Awardees will receive a confirmation email and a simple agreement to sign before items are released.

After You Travel or Launch All grant recipients agree to provide a short reflection, photo, or video within 60 days of using their grant. Your story may be featured (anonymously, if preferred) to inspire others and expand what’s possible for the neurodivergent community. Have questions?

Their approach blends academics with executive functioning supports, transition planning, and real world experiences.

How the Grant Is Being Used This grant is helping launch Humanex Academy’s Inclusive Travel Fund , making structured and supported travel accessible to students, particularly juniors and seniors preparing for adulthood.

Provide student scholarships to reduce travel and lodging costs Support planning and coordination for inclusive trips designed with sensory and executive functioning supports Begin building a long-term travel fund so future students can benefit Ensure equitable access to travel experiences that foster independence, confidence, and self-advocacy The first supported trip is planned for Spring 2026 , with ongoing travel opportunities envisioned as a core part of the Humanex experience.

“We are thrilled to be able to move forward with our planned trip and those in the future with your support. ” Inclusive Community Travel & Autism Family Education Jai-At-Play is a neurodivergent-led organization founded by Shekira Farrell and her son Jaiden, a young autistic self advocate. Their work centers autistic voices while providing families with inclusive, affirming, and sensory-friendly learning experiences.

How the Grant Is Being Used This grant is supporting Jai-At-Play’s Autism Family Workshop Tour, bringing free, high-quality workshops directly into community spaces, starting with Atlanta, Georgia.

Funds are being used to support: Travel for Shekira and Jaiden to Atlanta Delivery of a sensory-friendly Autism Family Workshop Educational materials and interactive activities for families Sensory-friendly goody bags for participating children Expanding access to autism education through trusted public spaces like libraries The workshop supported by this grant is officially scheduled this Spring 2026 at the Fulton County Buckhead Library in Atlanta.

This event will provide families with tools, connection, and representation. “Your support helped make this workshop possible, and we’re thankful for the role Inclusive Navigators played in making this stop a reality. Thank you for supporting work that centers autistic voices and families.

” This experience also supports Jaiden’s growth as a young autistic leader, giving him opportunities to teach, connect, and advocate alongside his mother.
