Neurotech Early Research and Development… | Ontario Brain Institute Neurotech Early Research and Development (NERD) Take your neurotech venture to the next level The NERD (Neurotech Early Research & Development) program provides milestone-based investment to support product development. The program helps to de-risk investments in neurotechnologies by bridging the funding gap between research grants and private capital.
Funds flow directly to contract research organizations (CROs) or service providers. All intellectual property remains with the company. Private and institutional investors interested in learning more about the neurotech industry or considering investments in this space can gain access to OBI’s investor platform with detailed profiles of OBI’s portfolio companies .
