Nevada Community Foundation - A Clear and Tailored Path to Philanthropy Nevada Community Foundation Build an ever-lasting legacy of positive change Reimagine your impact on the community Our mission is to steward our donors’ charitable giving, now and for generations to come and to provide leadership, vision and impactful community investment for Southern Nevada.
NCF administers more than 150 charitable funds with nearly $250 million in assets and has been awarded The Community Foundations National Standards Accreditation Seal. We believe philanthropy can be a powerful force for positive change, and we help donors reimagine their approach to charitable giving. Instead of following traditional methods of grant-making and transactional philanthropy, NCF takes a more strategic approach.
We see charitable giving as a one-to-many proposition, not a one-to-one exchange. This idea is what guides our mission to maximize the impact of donors’ charitable giving while helping them establish lasting legacies for generations to come. Invest in your community, invest in your future.
Nevada Community Foundation History Nevada Community Foundation was incorporated in 1989 with a $1M endowment. In the last 15 years, we’ve grown from $15M in asset size to over $250M—an increase of more than 1500%.
Today, NCF is one of the 100 largest community foundations in the country, and we’re recognized as a four-star organization by Charity Navigator, scoring a 100% trust rating. We’re humbled to be the stewards of our donors’ charitable giving. It’s a crucial responsibility we take seriously.

” I reach out to NCF and Gian Brosco when I have clients who are charitably inclined. They educate me around the different options available to my clients (even if it’s not with NCF). They do it quickly.
And they do it in a way that makes me look good in front of my clients. Gian and the team at NCF consistently add value to my client relationships and to my practice. The work of the World Boxing Council (WBC) is international in scope.
We support fighters and families from every corner of the boxing community. To do so, we need a team that is flexible, fast and easy to work with. Jane Ramos and the team at NCF are critical to our ability to fulfill our mission.
They are a pleasure to partner with in this important work! NCF makes sure my grants are being used the way we intended by the charitable organizations we support. Moreover, they look for ways to increase the impact of our giving at every opportunity.
