The Nevada Homeowner Assistance Fund from the Nevada Affordable Housing Assistance Corporation (NAHAC) provides free-to-qualify financial assistance to Nevada homeowners at risk of foreclosure. Administered by NAHAC under the state of Nevada, the program helps homeowners cover mortgage payments, HOA fees, lot rent, homeowner's insurance, and property taxes. Programs include the Unemployment Mortgage Assistance Program, the Mortgage Reinstatement Assistance Program, Housing Related Assistance, and Partial Claim or Deferred Balance options. There is no charge for applying or qualifying. Note that the Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) program closed to new applications on November 30, 2025, and program funding was limited. Approval did not guarantee assistance if funding was exhausted or the program was terminated.
