As a pioneering university-based competitive funding mechanism in Uzbekistan, this grant-based programme supports projects that combine scientific excellence with relevance to Uzbekistan’s development priorities. Each year, NewUU RP funds a portfolio of awarded projects that prioritise international collaboration and strong research integrity.
NewUU operates a highly competitive selection process supported by independent peer review, implemented in collaboration with leading international university partners.
