Nexteer Steering the Future Fund | Saginaw Community Foundation Nexteer Steering the Future Fund In 2012, Nexteer Automotive established the Nexteer Steering the Future Fund at the Saginaw Community Foundation. This fund supports programs and initiatives impacting the lives of those in Saginaw County where Nexteer Automotive serves and their employees live, work and play.
The Nexteer Steering the Future Fund allocates $20,000 annually to non-profit charitable 501(c)(3) organizations. To be eligible for funding, the applicant must secure project backing from a person currently working for Nexteer Automotive (a Nexteer Project Sponsor) . The Nexteer Project Sponsor ensures the project meets the evaluation criteria and supports the project.
Application deadlines are February 1, June 1, and October 1. The Nexteer Steering the Future Fund will not provide funding for the following : operating budgets, previously incurred debt, basic municipal and educational services, sectarian religious programs, sports team sponsorships and individual scholarships.
