NH Education Tax Credit Scholarship - Children’s Scholarship Fund – New Hampshire NH Education Tax Credit Scholarship About the Education Tax Credit Scholarship Program Families already receiving an Education Tax Credit scholarship for the 2025-26 school year will be invited by email to re-apply for 2026-27 , at the end of April.
Education Tax Credit (ETC) scholarships allow New Hampshire students who are struggling in their current public school to attend a private school, online school, or homeschool that is a better fit for them and their learning needs. ETC scholarships can also be used to attend out-of-district public schools. To be eligible for a New Hampshire ETC Scholarship You must be a New Hampshire resident.
You must have a child/children between the ages of 5 and 20 who has not graduated from high school and entering Kindergarten or 1st grade for the first time OR entering 2nd-12th grades and coming from a public school. Your household income must not exceed 300% of the federal poverty level. See income chart below.
Families already receiving an Education Tax Credit scholarship for the 2025-26 school year will be invited by email to re-apply for 2026-27. We provide ETC scholarships for New Hampshire students who are struggling in their current public school to allow them to attend a school that is a better fit for them and their learning needs.
Scholarships are awarded to students based on the metrics in the Education Tax Credit law , financial need (income and family size), and funds raised for tuition for a private school ( listed here ), an out-of-district public school, online school, or for homeschooling expenses. Submitting an application is not a guarantee of an award. Families are notified if they are awarded scholarships.
How Are Scholarships Funded? CSF is a 501c3 nonprofit charity scholarship organization funded by contributions from individuals and businesses. All donations are tax-deductible.
When a business contributes to CSF, they can be awarded an 85% tax credit against BET/BPT, their New Hampshire business income taxes. For more information, please visit our Support page. CSF maintains the confidentiality of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in accordance with state and federal law and requires that third-party vendors maintain the confidentiality of PII in accordance with state and federal law.
