NIH/NINDS K08/K23 Mentored Career Development Awards is sponsored by National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). These awards provide five years of funding to support early-career researchers across various fields, including neuro-oncology and brain tumors.

Mentored Patient-Oriented Research Career Development Award (K23) | Grants & Funding U.S. Department of Health and Human Services National Institutes of Health Mentored Patient-Oriented Research Career Development Award (K23) To provide support for the career development of investigators who have made a commitment to focus their research endeavors on patient-oriented research.

This mechanism provides support for a 3 year minimum up to 5 year period of supervised study and research for clinically trained professionals who have the potential to develop into productive, clinical investigators.
