com Subject All High School applications must be received by the deadline: May 31, 202 5 All Nursing Students applications must be received by the deadline July 18 , 202 52 The New Jersey Integrated Chapter of Black Nurses was organized January 2017 based upon the need to provide important health services and programs, networking and developing transparent partnerships between organizations and other local chapters within the state of New Jersey .
We believe in the benefits that partnerships created may improve healthier outcomes, lower costs for health systems by averting preventable rehospitalizations and emergency department visits, provide collaborations to reach more community members and incre ased resources to better meet our consumers’ needs.
New Jersey Integrated was chartered on August 1, 2017, as Chapter 157 of the National Black The NJIBNA Scholarships are afforded to Nursing Students who have a history of academic achievement, leadership, and community service. The scholarships also recognize Criteria -Nursing Students ● Be enrolled in an accredited Program of Nursing ● Demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum cumulative G. P.
A. OF 3. 0 in a ● Demonstrate leadership ability and community service .
● Provide an official transcript . Your application will not be considered if you do not submit an official transcript . ● Provide a letter of recommendation from a nursing faculty member at the school you are attending (Must be on th e institution’s letterhead) ● Submit a competed application by July 18 , 202 5.
3 Criteria - High School Senior (Class of 2025) ● Be enrolled in an Allied Health Program ● Demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum cumulative G. P. A.
of 3. 0 ● Demonstrate leadership ability and community service . ● Provide an official transcript .
Your application will not be considered if you do not submit an official transcript. ● Provide a letter of recommendation from your Guidance Counselor (Must be on the school’s official letterhead) ● Provide a letter of acceptance from College/University attending in the Fall with intended major. (Must be on official institution letterhead) ● Submit a competed application by May 31, 2025.
Number and Value of Awards The number and value of awards varies depending on the available funds . The scholarship committee will make the final selection(s) and notify the recipient(s) .
Presentation will take place at your High School An expectation of the organization is that any recipient of the NJIBNA Scholarship will be present during the Annual Scholarship Brunch scheduled for Saturday September 2 7, 2025, at The Westwood in Garwood . I am willing to appear for a personal interview as a requirement for consideration for this scholarship if required . I have requested an OFFICIAL transcript as required .
