** The Office of Grants and Research (OGR) is the State Administrative Agency (SAA) for all funds received by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). As such, OGR manages and administers the Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) in Massachusetts.
This program provides federal funding support for target hardening and other physical security enhancements to nonprofit organizations that are at high-risk of terrorist attack. Eligibility is limited to nonprofit organizations (as described under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986) at high-risk of terrorist attacks.
## Key Dates and Materials OGR recognizes that the July 10 deadline offers a brief application period. This timeline is necessitated by the deadline by which OGR must submit all applications to FEMA for review.
