Unless otherwise specified, organizations are allowed and encouraged to apply for general operating support. Some programs are part of a grouped selection process, which you can learn more about in our Process & Schedule section. Nonprofits serving Berkeley, Charleston and/or Dorchester counties can apply for up to $4,000.
General operating support are allowed and encouraged. The Charles-Webb Ed Croft Endowment Fund Grants up to $10,000 are available annually to nonprofit organizations serving Berkeley, Charleston and/or Dorchester County serving children with special needs. Stanley B.
Farbstein Endowment This invitation-only program is aimed at preserving Jewish life and education in Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties. The Healthy Harbors Fund will make grants for the benefit of water quality in the Charleston harbor and surrounding environment.
Applications will be accepted from organizations/projects with a primary focus on water quality related to pollution and environmental changes in the greater Charleston area. All Northern Lowcountry Grants Griffith-Reyburn Lowcountry Artist of the Year Award A grant of $6,000 is made annually to a Charleston County visual artist, defined as a fine art sculptor or individual who works in oils, acrylics, watercolors, or pastels.
The grant will provide funding to support the artist during the creation of a work of art that reflects or depicts “the look and feel” of the Lowcountry. grants@coastalcommunityfoundation. org N.
E. W. Fund (Neighborhoods Energized to Win) Grants up to $3,000 are available annually to low-to-moderate income neighborhood groups in Charleston and/or Colleton counties that address key issues in the neighborhoods and strengthen residents’ leadership skills.

Phyllis Martin, phyllis@jefsc. org Mini grants of up to $5,000 are available to groups in Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties for programs that support racial equity or address structural racism. grants@coastalcommunityfoundation.
org The Charleston JCC Foundation (CJCCF) Grant Program This invitation-only program continues the work of the Charleston Jewish Community Center by providing funding for education, community relations, Jewish culture, and sports. org The Boeing Interfaith Fund The Boeing Interfaith Fund, created by Boeing South Carolina in 2024, is dedicated to supporting faith-based outreach ministries in Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley Counties. grants@coastalcommunityfoundation.
org Grants up to $10,000 are available to nonprofit organizations serving Berkeley, Charleston and/or Dorchester counties supporting special needs youth, as well as education for underserved youth. Applications are accepted beginning in December, with a deadline of 11:59 p. m.

Teachers post proposals on the DonorsChoose website and community members select which projects to fund. grants@coastalcommunityfoundation. org Cooper River Bridge Run Grants Fund Grants up to $5,000 are available annually to nonprofit organizations serving Berkeley, Charleston and/or Dorchester counties that promote health and wellness.
The deadline to apply is February 1, or the next business day if that date falls on a weekend or a holiday. grants@coastalcommunityfoundation. org REALTORS Housing Opportunities Fund (RHOF) Grants up to $5,000 are available in two cycles per year to nonprofits serving Berkeley, Charleston, and/or Dorchester counties that focus on affordable housing, including education, development or repair.
Applications are accepted twice a year. The winter cycle begins in December, with an application deadline of 11:59 p. m.
February 1 (next business day if the date falls on a weekend). The summer cycle begins in April, with an application deadline of 11:59 p. m.

org Nonprofits serving Berkeley, Charleston and/or Dorchester counties as well as Georgetown County arts nonprofits. If the proposal addresses one of the following areas, applicants can apply for up to $15,000: Arts, Hospice Care, Alzheimer’s and related disorders. For all other focus areas, applicants may apply for up to $10,000.
