Northern New Mexico Health Grants | Con Alma The Northern New Mexico Health Grants Group (NNMHGG) is a collaborative funding initiative supported by Con Alma Health Foundation and the Los Alamos Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary that provides grants to improve health and address unmet healthcare needs in Los Alamos, Rio Arriba and northern Santa Fe counties (north of City of Santa Fe).
Established following the 2002 sale of Los Alamos Medical Center, when a portion of the proceeds was preserved to serve communities historically connected to LAMC, NNMHGG distributes investment income from these healthcare conversion funds through annual grantmaking to support nonprofit organizations advancing health equity, addressing social determinants of health, and strengthening community well-being across northern New Mexico.
Northern New Mexico Health Grants focus on improving health and expanding opportunity for communities in Los Alamos, Rio Arriba and northern Santa Fe counties (north of City of Santa Fe). These grants honor local leadership and support community-driven efforts that help close gaps and strengthen wellness across the region.
