Northrop Grumman Corporate Charitable Contributions (STEM Education Focus) is sponsored by Northrop Grumman Corporation. Provides funding to state/government-accredited schools and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations for STEM education programs, particularly in engineering and technology.

One way we support the needs of our communities is through strategic charitable giving. Northrop Grumman, the Northrop Grumman Foundation and our generous employees contribute to our core giving areas and programs. The Northrop Grumman Foundation contributes to organizations defined as tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) by the Internal Revenue Service.

Our funding supports science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education and workforce development initiatives that are helping to increase access to and participation in STEM learning and build the pipeline to the technical workforce. In addition, the Northrop Grumman Foundation's Matching Gifts for Education program is designed to acknowledge and support Northrop Grumman employees' personal commitment to education.

Once an employee registers their donation on our giving portal, the designated school/organization will be asked to verify the donation. Matched on a dollar-for-dollar basis, verified personal donations for education from $50 to $2,500 are eligible for matching. The Foundation also supports national organizations that respond to natural disasters.

The Foundation will not consider funding for the following: Organizations whose programs are not open to all Fundraising events and activities such as raffles, walk-a-thons, auctions, sporting events/tournaments, bake sales, luncheons/dinners/galas Extracurricular activities apart from STEM-focused clubs, teams and projects, including: Athletic teams, support organizations or scholarships designed to benefit student athletes Bands, choirs, TV/radio stations, theatre, drill teams or scholarships designed to benefit band, choir or theatre students Campus student organizations (such as fraternities, sororities, honor societies, recreational clubs) Religious schools, colleges, universities or departments (within eligible schools) whose primary focus is to promote religious beliefs (includes seminaries) Advertising or underwriting expenses Capital campaigns (building projects or expansion/renovation of existing facilities), except with respect to STEM-focused projects Organizations outside of the United States All Foundation grants are by invitation only.
