Northwest Michigan Action Agency | Home | NMCAA Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency Community Action Programs Housing & Energy Efficiency Services Homeless Prevention Programs Homeownership and Financial Center Child & Family Development NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD ON PROPOSED FY 2027 COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT (CSBG) PLAN The Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency, Inc. will accept public comments as required by the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services CSBG Plan for FY 2027.
Public Comments will be accepted on the CSBG FY 2027 proposed plan from May 18, 2026 through June 1, 2026. The plan summary is as follows: A total of $581,026.
00 is planned to be utilized in the counties of Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Missaukee, Roscommon, and Wexford for the general purposes of anti-poverty programming for low-income citizens to include but not be limited to: Senior Nutrition, Financial Management and Education, Emergency Services, Food Programs, Housing Rehabilitation and Weatherization.
