Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP) is sponsored by Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP) aims to increase the number of qualified nursing faculty nationwide by providing low-interest loans to students in advanced education nursing degree programs. A portion of the loan can be cancelled in exchange for post-graduation employment as nurse faculty in an accredited school of nursing.
The program also encourages Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) to serve as full-time preceptors to expand clinical training opportunities.

Loan cancelation for graduates who go on to work as faculty. NFLP graduates can have up to 85 percent of their student loan and interest canceled if they work full-time as nurse faculty for up to four years. This includes Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) who work full-time as preceptors in academic-practice partnerships.

Any domestic schools of nursing affiliated with this application must be:Accredited at the time of application and for the duration of the award. Accredited by a national or state agency recognized by the Secretary of Education for the purposes of nursing education. You must submit official documentation of accreditation in Attachment 1 for all affiliated nursing programs.
