Charitable Foundation - OSJL Inspires Charitable Foundation OSJL Staff 2026-06-24T12:17:31-05:00 Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation The Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that collaborates with local partners to support a broad array of charitable causes in our store communities, including: food insecurity, homelessness, veterans, child welfare, animal rescue, and healthcare services.
During times of humanitarian crisis, the foundation’s focus broadens to provide emergency medical supplies, hygienic products, clothing and food for those in need, both domestic and abroad. Charitable Foundation Updates The OSJL Mission Kitchen made a great debut in Rhode Island over the past two weeks.
First, we kicked off a two-day event at headquarters, inviting associates from all three DC shifts and the corporate office to take a look and grab a refreshment! Then, we headed over to the John H. Rollins Recreation Center in Providence, RI, for a special event in partnership with Community Angels.
There was a ribbon-cutting with local and state officials in attendance. Kids from the community were invited to the center for a magic show and received lunch from the Mission Kitchen along » Toy Donation to Troop 66 in RI To support Jackson Caito’s Eagle Scout project for Troop 66 Garden City in Rhode Island, the OSJL Charitable Foundation recently donated a selection of beach toys.
Jackson envisioned a "lending library" for beach toys to accommodate families who forgot to bring their own, while simultaneously helping to keep local playgrounds and shores clean by serving as a repository for discarded or forgotten items.
The finished library boxes have been successfully set up at the Margaret Cranston Playground and North Kingstown Town Beach in North Kingstown, RI, and at Narragansett Town Beach in Narragansett, RI. CFNF Helping Today, Shaping Tomorrow Grant is a grant from the Community Foundation of North Florida that funds nonprofits addressing pressing challenges with programs and services of lasting impact in Florida's Big Bend region.
