The purpose of this grant is to fund direct support services and outreach for individuals who have experienced labor or sex trafficking. Funding may also support services for individuals at risk of human trafficking. Eligible applicants must be operated by a public agency, nonprofit organization, tribe, or tribal organization.
They must have at least four years of experience providing trauma informed, person centered support and outreach to victims or survivors of human trafficking and individuals at risk. Applicants must also demonstrate at least four years of experience serving an underserved population and show financial support from other sources. OCVA funding is intended to supplement, not fully fund, operations.
