The OGE Energy Corp Foundation provides grants to local and regional 501(c)(3) nonprofits to support programs, organizations, and institutions that enhance the quality of life and economic well-being in the communities where OG&E operates.

Foundation Inc. provides grants to 501(c)(3) charities to support programs, organizations and institutions that enhance quality of life and economic well-being in the communities that we serve.

The Foundation’s giving programs support nonprofit organizations throughout our service area. In 2024, the financial investments from the Foundation were nearly $3 million. In addition to our focus on supporting early math and science education, we also support human services, the arts and community development organizations.

The Foundation also matches employee contributions to institutions of higher education. Visit our Education page to learn more Since 2018, the Foundation has contributed more than $12 million to philanthropic organizations. In 2024, we awarded more than $220,000 in need-based scholarships.

We donated more than $1. 33 million to 15 United Way organizations across our service area in since 2025. OGE Energy Corp. Foundation Goals Increase STEM access among elementary and middle school students from low-income and/or underrepresented communities.

Improve health and mental health outcomes for individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness, families with low income, and senior citizens. Create opportunities for individuals with low income and/or those in underrepresented communities to strengthen workforce development skills.

Environmental Stewardship Develop and enhance key community partnerships that promote biodiversity and sustainable water through habitat conservation and education. Provide access to the arts and cultural experiences for families with low income and underrepresented communities.

Ineligible Programs & Projects The OGE Energy Corp. Foundation is subject to Internal Revenue Service rules and regulations governing private and charitable foundations.

To qualify for grant funding consideration, your organization must meet the following criteria: Be a U.S.-based IRS 501(c)(3) qualified charitable or educational organization or an accredited K-12 educational institution Be geographically located where OG&E operates Serve communities without discrimination against any individual on the basis of race, creed, gender, age, sexual orientation or national origin Have a method by which to measure, track, and report program outcomes and specific results that demonstrate measurable community impact The OGE Energy Corp. Foundation generally does not fund grants for programs and projects associated with, but not limited to, the following: An individual person or families Building or Capital investments and improvements Dinners, luncheons or other forms of indirect support Organizations that are not 501(c)(3) organizations Political parties or candidates Religious activities, in whole or in part, for the purpose of furthering religious doctrine.

The Foundation will consider funding faith-based organizations which provide services to all clients regardless of denomination Sports teams/events such as tournaments (other than Special Olympics) Organizations offering goods or services to employees as a benefit of grant approval (e.g., participation in golf tournaments, reservations at fundraising dinners, tickets to special events, etc.) Applications are accepted year-round; however, funding decisions are made three times a year.

Applications are evaluated three times per year during committee meetings based on the following dates: Oct. 1 - Jan. 31 (Committee Meeting in March) Feb.

1 - May 31 (Committee Meeting in July) June 1 - Sept. 30 (Committee Meeting in November) Strengthening the Community Our funding promotes Oklahoma City’s thriving arts scene while benefitting world-class institutions including the Oklahoma City Philharmonic and the Oklahoma City Museum of Art.
