558 Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Eligible Applicants Community School, Public Children Services Agency , Traditional Public School, Behavioral Health Provider, Chartered Non-Public Schools, Children's Advocacy Center, Community School District Support Network, Community Support Network, County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Developmental Disabilities Council, Educational Service Center/District, Family and Children First Council, Metropolitan Housing Authority, Public Humanities Organizations, Opportunity Details The Ohio Children’s Trust Fund, housed within the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS), releases this Request for Grant Applications (RFGA) for the purpose of soliciting applications from service providers across Ohio to provide parent education and early child safety supports to Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) eligible families throughout the state.
This RFGA seeks to select at least twenty (20) grantees. The responsibilities of the selected applicants will include providing parent education to TANF eligible families and identifying, purchasing, and disseminating approved early childhood safety items. The OCTF will award funding only to qualified family serving entities that provide direct services and supports to families throughout Ohio.
Estimated Funding$1,000,000. 00 Average Award Size$43,478. 26 Financial Details The OCTF anticipates one million dollars ($1,000,000) in TANF funds per each State Fiscal Year 2024 and 2025 available for this grant opportunity and will provide up to fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.
00) per State Fiscal Year per grantee. The OCTF reserves the right to prioritize applicants who demonstrate the ability to expend funds and serve as many eligible Ohioans as possible and, therefore, will prioritize any applicant proposing to serve families through a grant award of at minimum thirty thousand dollars ($30,000. 00) or more, not to exceed fifty thousand dollars $50,000.
00 per State Fiscal Year. The budget encompasses all expenses necessary to complete the grant activities. It is important to note that this opportunity is pending the OCTF receiving these funds, and in the instance where the OCTF does not receive these funds, no grant awards would be executed through this procurement opportunity.
