Every year, JFEDLA makes the above possible by giving hundreds of kids a strong foundation for their Jewish identities at Jewish summer camps. These camps give kids the traditional summer camp experience with outdoor activities, team building and more, all while learning about Jewish culture and connecting to their Jewish roots.
Studies have shown that kids who attend Jewish summer camp grow up to be more involved in the Jewish community — that’s why we want to make camp accessible to as many families as possible and provide first-time campers with a meaningful and memorable experience. How are we accomplishing this? Through the One Happy Camper Incentive Award.
One Happy Camper Incentive Award In partnership with the Foundation for Jewish Camp , our Federation offers generous incentive awards for first-time campers and campers with special needs to help offset the cost. Learn more about eligibility and apply now! Now, your family may be eligible for up to $ 1,000 off Jewish camp!
In addition to needblind One Happy Camper® (OHC) grants of up to $ 1,000 for first-time campers, families with a combined household income under $300K may also be eligible to receive returning camper grants of up to $ 1,000 for one subsequent summer! Register your child for their first summer at camp with the reassurance that you’ll be able to send them back to create lasting friendships and lifelong memories year after year.
