Call for proposals for civil society organisations in the Republic of Moldova in 2026 | EEAS Call for proposals for civil society organisations in the Republic of Moldova in 2026 The EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova launched today the Call for Proposals for Civil Society Organisations in the Republic of Moldova (2026), ref. EuropeAid/185895/DD/ACT/MD.
The global objective of the Call is to strengthen the capacities of civil society organisations and independent media in the Republic of Moldova to effectively support and contribute to the country’s EU accession process.
The action seeks to empower CSOs and media organisations to play a proactive and influential role in fostering open and constructive dialogue with public authorities, promoting democratic governance and sustainable development, enhancing social cohesion, and strengthening community resilience to disinformation. The total budget of the Call for Proposals is EUR 12,500,000 .
This Call for Proposals is divided into five lots, each lot has its own specific objectives and priorities: Lot 1: Enabling civil society to contribute to fostering social cohesion and improving community-based social services for vulnerable groups; Lot 2: Advancing gender equality and combating gender-based violence through enhanced access to protection, justice, prevention and economic empowerment; Lot 3: Strengthening the internal capacity, effectiveness and long-term sustainability of grassroot civil society organisations, including CSO platforms and networks; Lot 4: Enhancing inclusive multi‑level governance through stronger cooperation between CSOs and Local Public Authorities (LPAs) in the implementation of EU accession‑related reforms; Lot 5: Support to independent media and investigative journalism and fact-checking in Moldova.
