Open Door Grant | Financial Aid Get a free education and open doors to a new career Free Funding for Workforce Programs Palm Beach State College offers the Open Door Grant to eligible students enrolled in high-demand workforce programs. This incredible grant covers all student expenses, including tuition, exam fees, books, uniforms and more, so students can focus on their studies without worrying about the cost.
With a wide selection of eligible workforce programs to choose from, students can find the perfect path to match their career goals. Funding is limited and awarded on a first-come-first-served basis. Open Door Grant funding is closed for the 2026-27 academic year.
Funding for the Open Door Grant program is administered by the Office of Student Financial Assistance within the Florida Department of Education. Open Door Grant funding is limited and based on fund availability. All applications are reviewed in date order.
