Open Grants Programme (Bodossaki Foundation) is sponsored by Bodossaki Foundation. The Bodossaki Foundation accepts applications for grants from public-law entities and private-law non-profit entities in Greece.

CURRENT GRANTS PROGRAMMES - BODOSSAKI FOUNDATION The grant-making activities of the Bodossaki Foundation further its vision of a society of equal opportunities and prospects for all, structured in line with the Foundation’s four strategic action pillars: Protecting the Environment The Foundation accepts applications for grants from public-law entities and private-law non-profit entities for the following programmes: The ‘ Open Grants Programme’ , which accepts applications throughout the year submitted by public entities and non-profit organisations, who must use the Foundation’s dedicated online platform.

In 2026, Bodosaki Foundation will not prioritize funding requests from individual school units through the resources of the Open Grants Programme, as it actively supports schools and their students through nationwide educational programmes such as the programme for equipping science laboratories in public lower secondary schools across the country, “Experience Science”, and the innovative student Business Administration competition, available to upper secondary schools nationwide, “Young Business Talents” .

The ‘Thematic Grants Programme’ is launching thematic calls for funding to address social needs which have been identified as priority action areas for the coming year. In 2025, the Programme was co-funded by the Bodossaki Foundation, the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation, and TIMA Charitable Foundation, focusing on the theme of Healthy Ageing.

In 2026, the 4th Cycle of the Thematic Grants Programme, titled Safe Together, will be implemented with co-funding from the Bodossaki Foundation and the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation, focusing on violence among children. The Programme has a total budget of €200,000, with grants of up to €50,000 per selected project, starting in December 2026 and with an implementation period of 8 to 12 months.

Capacity Building Programmes for Civil Society Organisations active in promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment, in partnership with Fondation CHANEL. The programme “Preventing gender-based violence and violence against children” (PREVENT) co-funded by the European Union through the Citizens, Equality, Rights, and Values (CERV) 2023-DAPHNE programme, and by the Bodossaki Foundation and NGO Support Centre.

The programme ‘Protecting democracy, human rights, and the rule of law through an open civic space’ (PLATO), co-funded by the European Union through the Citizens, Equality, Rights, and Values programme (CERV-2024-CITIZENS-VALUES), and by the Bodossaki Foundation and NGO Support Centre.

The “Voicing Opposition to domestic, sexual, cyber violence & harmful practices” (VOICES) programme, co-funded by the European Union through the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV-2025-DAPHNE), and by the Bodossaki Foundation, the Marangopoulos Foundation for Human Rights and the NGO Support Centre.
