Operation Sight Grant Application Details and Eligibility Requirements - ASCRS Foundation | Operation Sight 2026 Operation Sight Grant Application Details and Eligibility Requirements The ASCRS Foundation’s Operation Sight Grant program supports organizations and practices with charitable cataract programs who have (1) a verified 501(c)(3) status or (2) an affiliation with a verified 501(c)(3) organization.
The grant is intended to support local organizations to expand access to free cataract care to underserved patient populations, who meet or exceed the Operation Sight patient criteria. Eligible grantees are established as a trusted resource within their community for underserved patient populations and will provide free cataract surgery and associated care to patients through the 90-day global cataract period.
The ASCRS Foundation grant funding will support your organization’s year-long 2026 charitable efforts and can be applied for any program-related expenses, excluding salary, benefits, or compensation for volunteer surgeons and staff. Grantees must provide bi-annual reporting detailing the program’s surgical impact and patients served. The 2026 Operation Sight grant application period is now closed.
