Opportunities Abound Foundation supports students everywhere Abound has branches. High school seniors who are Abound Members can apply for scholarships It's a major achievement to get good grades. It's a big challenge to cover college costs.

Our goal at Abound Credit Union is to award academic achievement and ease the financial burden on students and their families. We fund 8 scholarships of $2,500 (renewable for up to four years*) to college bound seniors in Abound's service area**. Scholarship recipients are selected in April and awarded by the Opportunities Abound Foundation during our Annual Meeting in May.

Must be a high school senior Must be a primary Savings Account holder with Abound Credit Union for a minimum of three months Must provide proof of enrollment in a college/vocational/technical institution for funds to be released to the school Must submit a brief video OR an original essay.

Essay prompt: How are you applying financial literacy skills you've learned in high school to choose a college career path that makes financial sense for the lifestyle you would like to live after you obtain your degree? Give specific examples of lessons learned, decisions you're making, and the type of future you strive for. Must have an overall high school grade point average of 3.
