Funding Period: 7/1/26–6/30/27 Event Grants are now funded through the Opportunity Grant. Opportunity Grants for Events and Sponsorships The Jewish Nevada Opportunity Grant offers $250-$2,500 in supplemental funding for one-time events and sponsorships, reviewed on a rolling basis. Applications are due at least 90 days prior to event for consideration.

Events must be listed on the Jewish Nevada Community Calendar to be considered. Eligible applicants include nonprofits with tax-exempt status hosting an event that benefits the Jewish community of Nevada. Funds are allocated to Nevada Jewish agencies and programs for maximum impact, to collectively support what have always been our community's priorities .

Caring for the Vulnerable in our local and global community. Strengthening Jewish Vibrancy & Continuity for our collective future which depends on bolstering the fabric of the Nevada Jewish community. Supporting Israel and Global Impact facilitated by our partner organizations the Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), partner region Ramat HaNegev in Israel, and more.

Funds are also allocated to national, Israel, and overseas programs that fight global Jewish poverty, connect the Jewish people, rescue Jews at risk and ensure an Israeli democracy dedicated to Jewish pluralism. Allocating Community Campaign funds is a fair, democratic, and participatory process.

More than 40 volunteers spend 400 hours over six months to make sure your gift goes to the programs that most effectively address the most critical needs in our community, and best support and nurture Jewish life locally and globally. They make sure your gift will be used wisely and with the greatest impact. Thinking about Jewish Preschool?

The Right Start Voucher is a voucher of up to $2,000 towards the first child in the family’s Preschool Program. Sibling vouchers are also available up to $250. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Families are encouraged to apply early in the year. Eligibility: Jewish students attending Jewish Preschool for the first time and first in the family, enrolled in a participating school for at least 3 half days, and begin school in the year of the voucher. Hebrew Free Loan provides interest-free loans of up to $7,500, providing a critical bridge to chasing dreams and overcoming obstacles.

Applications are reviewed on a continuous basis. This program is for Jewish residents of Nevada for at least one year. Guarantor required on all loans.

Must demonstrate ability to repay. Credit check required. Israel Programs Scholarships Teens and young adults, ages 13-23, won’t want to miss out on this opportunity!

Spend a summer or gap-year in Israel! Scholarships of up to $1,500 towards a peer-based Israel experience. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

For Jewish residents of Nevada aged 13-23. Application is merit based. For first and second year overnight campers, enjoy an incentive of up to $1,250 towards a summer experience when you choose to go to sleep-away camp!

Applications open in November for the following summer For Jewish 1st and 2nd year campers attending an approved camp by the Foundation for Jewish Camp. Camper must attend for at least 12 days to receive funding. Second year grants limited to a household income cap of $175,000.

Needs Based Overnight Camp Scholarships For first time campers, Jewish Nevada is a partner of One Happy Camper. $750-$1000 scholarships for your camper! This is a rolling scholarship and is first-come, first-served as funds are available.

Second-Year Middle Income One Happy Camper Grants: If the child received a First-Time One Happy Camper Grant the previous year, they may be eligible for a middle income grant the second year. Needs Based Overnight Camp Scholarships Needs Based Overnight Camp Scholarships Not eligible for One Happy Camper? We’ve still got a scholarship for you!

Apply for a Needs Based Scholarships to assist with the burdens of camp costs. Application opens in March and closes May 1st. Camper must be ineligible for One Happy Camper, attending an approved camp by the Foundation for Jewish Camp.
