Opportunity Investments - Richmond Memorial Health Foundation The past few years have brought an overwhelming amount of unforeseen change, and we recognize that organizations often need to respond quickly to urgent and unexpected challenges and opportunities.
“As we developed our Strategic Framework, we considered the unforeseen changes that organizations have weathered over the past few years, and we wanted to put funding in place that helps support them to respond quickly to urgent and unexpected opportunities or challenges.
” – Kendra Jones, Special Projects Officer and Accountant We encourage mission-aligned organizations to apply for these $1,000-$7,500 grants, which are available on a rolling basis until the end of our fiscal year (June 30) or until funds are expended. Proposals should describe the urgent and unexpected projects, events, or initiatives expected to occur within three months of the application date.
Applicants will need to complete an organizational profile and answer a few questions. We will review requests as they come in and respond within 15 business days (response times may be delayed during major holidays). All organizations interested in applying for funding are required to schedule a pre-application conversation with the RMHF Program Team to discuss their proposal concept and alignment with RMHF’s mission.
Due to an overwhelming response for pre-application meetings, we have stopped accepting new appointments at this time. If there are available funds remaining at the end of this year, we will reopen the bookings link in January 2026. Questions about the grant program?
