Accessia Health: Offering Dental Care Financial Assistance | Accessia Health Accessia Health Expands Financial Assistance Program for Oral Health Care To Support Individuals with Chronic Conditions Program improves access to vital services for those in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.
Midlothian, VA (August 28, 2024) – Accessia Health, a national nonprofit 501(c)(3) patient assistance organization, is offering financial assistance to residents in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana who have a chronic condition and need help paying for their dental or oral care services. Research shows that poor oral health is linked to a higher risk of chronic diseases.
But the cost of dental and oral care services can often be a barrier to getting treatments. Accessia Health’s Oral Health Fund, funded by a grant from the Delta Dental Foundation , aims to improve access to care for those who might otherwise go without. Individuals who qualify may receive up to $650 for dental/oral care expenses and up to $100 for travel expenses related to oral care needs and treatment.
By promoting oral health prevention and early treatment, it is possible to improve long-term outcomes for those with chronic disease. The Oral Health Fund is a program under Accessia Health’s nationwide initiative Healthy People. Healthy Communities .
Eligible individuals can utilize their financial assistance for services such as dental cleanings, x-rays, cavity filling, root canals, and more. Financial Assistance is available to those living with a rare or chronic health condition who have a demonstrated need for dental or oral health services. Program space is limited and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
