Electric transportation grants Electric transportation grants can reduce the cost of studying, planning, promoting or deploying electric transportation technology and projects. Grants are available only to nonresidential entities that serve Pacific Power customers. Grant matching and grant writing support are also available to some customers for pursuing EV-related projects.

Applications are due September 1, 2026: Oregon Electric Mobility Grant Application Oregon Electric Mobility Grant Budget Template For questions, email us at pacificpowerev@clearesult. com Examples of previously funded projects include: EVSE infrastructure – A rural hospitality destination installed public EV charging stations, providing convenient charging access for visitors and community members.
The project helped fill a gap in charging infrastructure and encouraged electric vehicle adoption. EV purchase – A nonprofit organization expanded its delivery services by adding electric vehicles to its fleet, helping connect underserved households with essential resources. The project improved operational efficiency while supporting cleaner transportation.
Micromobility – An affordable housing organization distributed e-bikes to residents to increase access to reliable, low-cost transportation. The project connected housing and mobility solutions to support long-term community benefits. Outreach & education – A conservation-focused nonprofit adopted electric transportation and public charging infrastructure to support fieldwork, education and community engagement.
The project advanced sustainability goals while improving access to important community resources. Needs assessment – A regional organization conducted an electric vehicle infrastructure assessment to help guide future charging investments. The project created a roadmap for expanding EV access and meeting growing transportation needs.
Fleet users: Customers that are interested in infrastructure upgrades associated with fleet electrification are asked to apply to our Fleet Make-Ready program . Applications for this program are open year-round. Oregon grant matching support Grant matching support is designed to offset project costs related to transportation electrification.
These awards provide matching funds, cost shares, or support for other project costs incurred while implementing a transportation electrification project funded by another grant. Applicants for grant matching support should review the eligibility requirements, definitions, and terms and conditions before applying.
The applicant will need to share plans about the project, describe how the project will benefit Pacific Power customers and demonstrate a need for grant matching support. Some chargers also require software (see "Network - Commercial" section).
Oregon Clean Fuels Program Grants are made possible by the Oregon Clean Fuels Program administered by the state Department of Environmental Quality. The goal of the Clean Fuels Program is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from Oregon’s transportation fuels. Washington communities grants Washington communities grant funding is available to nonresidential customers in Washington.
Funding awards can reduce the costs associated with promoting or deploying electric transportation technology and projects. The grants are designed to support projects that advance transportation electrification in named communities. Applications are currently closed.

Washington electric vehicle supply equipment repair grants Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Repair support grants are designed to offset the costs of repairing, improving, and providing for sustained maintenance of transportation electrification projects previously funded by Pacific Power’s Infrastructure Charging Pilot awards issued between 2018 and 2020 in Washington.
EVSE Repair Support grant applications will be considered for sites that successfully purchased and installed EVSE during the pilot program. Applicants must demonstrate a current need to repair, maintain or improve the EVSE that cannot be fulfilled through other sources of available funding.
Washington EVSE Repair Grant Application (Word) Washington EVSE Repair Grant Application (PDF) Washington grant writing support Microgrants are available for grant writing support for nonresidential customers to apply for EV-related grants to support Pacific Power customers. Applicants for grant writing support should review the eligibility requirements, definitions, and terms and conditions before applying.
The applicant will need to share plans about the project, describe how the project will benefit Pacific Power customers, and demonstrate a need for grant writing support. Applications are accepted continuously until funds are exhausted or otherwise noted. Support may reimburse costs associated with internal or external support to write and develop a grant proposal to an entity other than Pacific Power.
Up to 75% of the total award may be issued in advance. In order to receive the final grant writing support payment, a copy of the completed intended grant application must be sent to Pacific Power.
