Upon approval, OSH Cut will create a unique coupon code that will be sent to the Primary Contact on file. That person will coordinate to distribute said code internally, based on the curriculum and needs of their respective program. This same Primary Contact will also liaise reasonable brand awareness opportunities for OSH Cut.

Every four months (Jan 1, May 1, Sept 1), a new coupon code will be sent to the Primary Contact. Why do the academic sponsorship coupon codes refresh every 4 months? The lifespan of our sponsorship codes are meant to compliment a typical segmented school calendar (i.e. semesters or terms) and be a genuine benefit to the students.

Having natural expiration dates in place for these codes simply helps to protect the integrity of the program. Will students have access to OSH Cut customer support if needed? Yes.

What does OSH Cut expect in return? Our main objective is to show students the advantages they'll realize by using OSH Cut's technology. We also want to celebrate their work and glean some basic sponsor recognition for the portions we helped subsidize.

Things such as mentioning OSH Cut in video presentations, displaying our insignia, and linking to oshcut. com from their website are all examples of reasonable tradeoffs. Will students be able to benefit from this sponsorship program after they graduate?

Although they'll no longer be privy to the school's discount program, the knowledge they takeaway will be immensely valuable throughout their career. What types of design files are supported by OSH Cut’s software? We support a wide variety of 2D and 3D file formats, including DXF, SVG, AI, STEP, SLDPRT, CATPART, IPT, PAR, NX, SolidEdge, JT, Rhino (3DM), Parasolid (x_t), ACIS (SAT, SAB) and IGES formats.

Our system will automatically analyze your parts for manufacturability, provide you with fully-nested pricing, and render both a flat pattern and a 3D model for your review. Is there a dollar limit to how much savings we can get with our discount? Nope!

As long as the code is being used by the students or faculty, leverage this program as much as you can. Would a school order from a single OSH Cut account, or are students encouraged to register for their own accounts?
