Solar Thermal Water Heater Rebate | Get up to $900 with OUC Solar Thermal Water Heater Rebate Rebate Amount: 100% of the cost, up to $900 The average solar thermal water heater system takes up just 40 square feet of roof space and can reduce your water heating consumption by 50% to 85%, saving you money on your electric bill. On average, you can expect your water heating consumption to drop by 50% to 80%.
Built to last—up to 20 years of reliability. A solar water heater uses renewable energy, which helps to reduce your carbon footprint. Determine if a solar thermal water heater is right for you, taking into account your location, the size of your house and hot water usage.
Choose a solar thermal water heater that is certified by the FSEC Energy Research Center or Solar Rating & Certification Corporation™ (SRCC). Consult with a professional to assist with installation. Need help with installation?
OUC has a trusted range of Preferred Contractors we recommend. Submitting Your Rebate Application Be prepared to provide us with the following documents: Submit a copy of the contractor’s invoice, which must list the system’s model number. Submit a copy of the system’s FSEC Energy Research Center or Solar Rating & Certification Corporation™ (SRCC) certification sheet.
Eligibility & Requirements Requirements: All receipts/invoices must be dated and submitted within six (6) months of the date of purchase. Eligibility: Available to OUC electric customers. Reimbursement: Customers will receive an approval email once the application has been submitted, reviewed and approved by one of our conservation support specialists.
The rebate will be paid as a credit on your bill. FSEC Energy Research Center or Solar Rating & Certification Corporation™ (SRCC) certified solar thermal water heaters can earn back up to 100% of the cost for installing a solar thermal water heating system, not exceeding $900. Exclusions: Not available for OUC water-only customers.
