Our Partners in Equity | Office of Equity We Rise and Fall Together The Office of Equity is relational in our work and centers community at every opportunity. Commissions are designed to give Washingtonians a voice in their government and allow community members to influence decisions that shape the quality of life for the residents of our state. Participation on a board or commission is one of the most effective steps community members can take in becoming an active voice in their government. Statewide business resource groups (BRGs) bring together groups of employees and their allies who have a common interest or characteristic. Participation in any BRG open to all state employees and considered a leadership priority and opportunity. BRG members also bring their unique knowledge and perspectives, making them an asset to the State.
