Outdoor Gear Exchange Charitable Grant - Vermont Trails and Greenways Skip to primary navigation Infrastructure , Trail design & build The Outdoor Gear Exchange Charitable Grant Fund’s mission is to enhance outdoor recreation opportunities in Vermont communities by partnering with qualified organizations that focus on land conservation, lowering barriers to the outdoors, and trail development.
Through an annual grant cycle, the Charitable Grant Fund awards three to six organizations grants of up to $2,000. These grants are funded by customer donations through our consignment program. Funds are preferentially provided for specific aspects of individual local projects.
This website was created in collaboration with the Vermont Outdoor Recreation Economic Collaborative (VOREC). This project was supported by a grant from the Northern Border Regional Commission. Funding for this project was made possible in part with a Rural Business Development Grant from USDA Rural Development.
