Pantex Cooperative Grant Program is sponsored by Amarillo Area Foundation. Supports nonprofit organizations in the northern Texas Panhandle, including Amarillo, focusing on basic needs, education, health, and community development.

Pantex Grant Program - Amarillo Area Foundation Hit enter to search or ESC to close The employee‑directed fund is funded by PanTeXas Deterrence, LLC, and administered through the Amarillo Area Foundation. All qualifying non‑profit organizations and educational institutions in the Panhandle top 26 counties service area are eligible.

A 14‑member Pantex employee committee will review the applications and recommend grants that support one or more of the committee’s focus areas: basic needs (i.e., food, clothing, and shelter); children, youth, and family; community development; education; financial literacy; and health and wellness.

Priority will be given to proposals from organizations located and operating in one of the twelve contiguous counties surrounding the Pantex Plant with preference given to projects that serve multiple priority counties. These counties are Armstrong, Carson, Deaf Smith, Donley, Gray, Hall, Hutchison, Moore, Oldham, Potter, Randall, and Swisher. Application opens April 6 and closes May 1st .
