Pathway to Opportunity Competition is sponsored by Undisclosed (previously National Black Business Pitch). This competition offers a cash prize and an opportunity to pitch businesses live to corporate professionals. A three-minute pitch video is required for application.

Through Pathway to Opportunity, we aim to do more than provide a seat at the table—we strive to open doors and build relationships that can lead to long-term, sustainable contracts. Finalists are selected to pitch their businesses in front of a virtual audience, and three winners receive prizes of $5,000.

Eligible applicants must be artists in visual arts, choreography, or film/video/electronic/digital arts with an average income below $75,000 ($150,000 for joint filers). Grants cover out-of-pocket expenses like co-pays, emergency dental work, and transportation for treatment, but exclude chronic conditions, living expenses, or ongoing care.

Montana Incumbent Worker Training Program MT Department of Labor & Industry The Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) program is a grant funding resource, helping to off-set a portion of skills-based training costs for incumbent (existing) workers employed by Montana's private sector.

Businesses must demonstrate that training will increase the worker's skill-level, result in a promotion or wage gain, or expand their business market/increase business revenue with the intent of preserving existing jobs for Montana residents. Funding is allocated to the Montana Department of Labor & Industry (MTDLI) on a State Fiscal Year at the discretion of the Montana Legislature and is not guaranteed.

This competitive worker retention grant has $540,000 available each Fiscal Year (FY). Applications are submitted through Submittable for trainings of incumbent workers. Conditional awards provide up to $2,500/full time employee and $1,000/part-time employee.

Wyoming SBIR Matching Grant The Wyoming SBIR Match Grant Program is designed to support companies that have received Phase I or Phase II federal funding through the Small Business Innovation (SBIR) or the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. With the intent of helping Wyoming businesses that are working to advance their groundbreaking technologies and looking to commercialize their research.

The goal of this program is to catalyze innovation and business growth within the state, ultimately creating a lasting positive impact on the Wyoming economy.

WI Business and Commercialization Micro-grant WI Center for Technology Commercialization The Business or Commercialization Planning assistance micro-grant can reimburse up to $5000, spent on hiring an approved, independent, third party to write a comprehensive business or commercialization plan for a Wisconsin business. Typically awardees are pursuing a Phase II SBIR/STTR grant in which a detailed commercialization plan is required.

The program is limited to businesses in certain industries. NJ Small Business Lease Grant NJ Economic Development Authority The Small Business Lease Grant supports the growth and success of small businesses and nonprofits by providing grant funding to cover a portion of lease payments.

These resources will help the establishment and growth of small businesses, while also helping to fill space that is currently vacant and preventing future vacancies. The Grant is being funded through the Main Street Recovery Finance Program (NJ Economic Recovery Act).
