Peace and Security Funders Group The Peace and Security Funders Group connects and supports the global community of funders advancing peace and security efforts in order to build a more peaceful, just, and equitable world. PSFG’s Annual Meeting is a supportive and welcoming space for new and longtime members of our funder community to learn, connect, and collaborate on current issues in our field.

Better Preparedness Initiative A collaboration between PSFG and the Human Rights Funders Network, Better Preparedness is a cross-sector community of funders working to ensure that human rights movements and civil society organizations receive the resources they need in times of crisis and restricted civic space.
PSFG hosts a virtual convening open to our entire peace and security funding community annually in the fall. The Fall Summit is an opportunity to find collaborators, bridge traditional siloes, and learn from innovative systems thinkers with deep expertise in peace and conflict transformation.

The SCI Youth Grant Pitch Contest is a competitive program from Social Capital Inc. that funds youth-led community improvement projects in Greater Boston. Teams of high school students in grades 9 through 12 residing in Essex, Middlesex, Norfolk, or Suffolk counties develop project ideas through coaching from local professionals, then pitch their proposals to a live panel of judges. Improving Veteran Mental Health Grant Program is a grant from The Cigna Group Foundation that funds nonprofits providing housing stability and wraparound support services to improve the mental health of military veterans. The Foundation committed $9 million over three years addressing housing instability and its mental health impacts, as an estimated 40,000 veterans go without shelter nightly and 1.5 million are at risk of homelessness.
